About Steelgrew Tree Service and How Referrals Work
Request an estimate
A Referral Service, Not a Tree Crew
Steelgrew Tree Service is a referral service for homeowners who need a tree dealt with. We do not cut, climb, haul or grind. Independent local providers do that work. Our job is to help you reach one of them and to give you clear, careful guidance first.
Why This Site Exists
A risky tree puts a busy household in a hard spot. You have school runs, shifts and a long list of chores. Then a limb comes down or a trunk starts to lean. Many people do not know who to contact, what to ask or what to avoid. Safe first, then scheduled. This site was built to make that first step simpler and calmer.
How Matching Works
You send a request with a few details: what the tree looks like, where it stands and what it is close to. Your request goes to providers in our network that serve your area. A provider may contact you to ask questions, talk about timing and set up a visit. You can compare more than one answer before you decide.
Availability varies by provider and by season. Request a callback to check provider availability, or use the request form.
What We Expect From Providers
We ask providers in our network to act like professionals:
- Give a written quote that lists the work, the cleanup and the stump plan.
- Be open about insurance and any local license rules.
- Explain how they will protect your home, yard and nearby wires.
- Respect agreed time windows and tell you early about changes.
You should still check these things yourself. Ask to see proof of insurance before any work starts.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not perform tree work.
- We do not set prices. Each provider sets its own.
- We do not decide how a job is done on your property.
- We do not handle insurance claims. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
How We Are Paid
Homeowners are not charged by Steelgrew Tree Service to request an estimate. Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when we connect them with a homeowner. You are under no obligation to hire anyone.
Planning Around Real Life
Good tree work respects your schedule. Ask providers about arrival windows, noise, driveway access and cleanup. In our region, winter ice and spring thaw can leave the ground soft, and coastal storms can raise demand. Booking early for non-urgent jobs helps. For an urgent hazard, such as a tree on a house or on wires, keep everyone clear and contact local emergency services first.
